Veolia is our hauler.
4 homes, 8 people share a 1.5 cubic yard dumpster for recycling ($8.75 per household)and a .5 cubic yard tote for garbage($3.77 per household).
Trash pickup is 1 x/ month;
Recycling is every other week.
Veolia furnishes containers.
Just have been doing it for 1 month. So far going smoothly. Amazing how much recycling there is!

We're inside the city limits.
There are 6 people in our household, and currently I have twice a week trash pickup. If I want to have recycling, I have to give up the twice a week pickup, and I'm unwilling to trade that. Plus, the recycle pickup is every other week - I would have a porch overflowing with recylables - I have to take them to the bins. I was told that I could buy my own bins and haul them down to the curb - but I have just too much recycling (that's good though!).
I think if I have to give up the twice a week trash pickup (it's a convenience, I know) I'd like recycles to be picked up every week. Every other week will not do.

We pay $5 per month for recycling (but they lowered our monthly bill $1.50 due to the reduced gas prices).
We have weekly trash pick up and curbside recycling every other week. There are 2 adults in our home.
Our trash container is less than half full each week at pick up.
We provide our own containers for recycling. We have 2 containers we use for recycling.
We are delighted to have the curbside recycling and are pleased with our current arrangement.
We have Morgan's as our hauler. We live inside city limits and our trash gets picked up once a week and our re-cycle gets picked up every other week.
We are very happy with the arrangement because for 2 people in the household we have little trash but 2 x as much re-cycle. The hauler furnished an extra can. We are very happy to see that Charleston finally has green thoughts.Hope the mayor sees it that way!
Morgan's is our hauler. We love the large bin they provided and we fill it to the top for pick up every other week. With 2 in the household the once a week trash pickup is fine. If we have extra paper for example, we bag it and set it beside the recycle bin and they take it, too. It's great.
